Mandatory Gear (100K)
For safety during night sections and changing conditions, all 100KM runners must carry the following equipment:
Headlamp & Batteries
Working headlamp with spare batteries for night sections (minimum 200 lumens). Must be carried from start.
Reflective Clothing
Reflective vest or reflective elements on clothing for visibility during night running and low-light conditions.
Hydration System
Reusable bottle or soft flask (minimum 1L capacity). Limited disposable cups available at aid stations.
Mobile Phone
Fully charged mobile phone with emergency numbers saved. Must be kept on and accessible at all times.
Blink Light
blinking front and rear light for enhanced visibility to vehicles during night running sections. Must be worn on back of pack or clothing.
Note: Gear checks will be conducted at registration and random checks may occur on course. Failure to carry mandatory gear may result in disqualification for safety reasons.
