The Ultimate Warrior's Journey

The Chittorgarh Challenge is a monumental endurance race paying tribute to the indomitable heroes of Mewar. Starting from Udaipur, participants move along historic pathways toward Chittorgarh Fort, one of Asia's largest forts.

Every kilometre reflects loyalty, sacrifice, and the unmatched warrior legacy of this sacred land. The final approach features a steep climb near Chittorgarh Fort, testing every runner's endurance and determination.

Mandatory Gear (100 Miler)

For safety during extended night running and extreme conditions, all 161KM/100 Mile runners must carry the following essential equipment:

Headlamp & Spare Batteries

Working headlamp (min 300 lumens) + spare batteries/power bank for 12+ hours of night running. Must be carried from start.

Reflective Safety Gear

Reflective vest or jacket with reflective elements for maximum visibility during extended night sections on rural roads.

Hydration System

Reusable bottle/soft flask (min 2L capacity) or hydration pack. Limited disposable cups - self-sufficiency required.

Mobile Phone & Power

Fully charged mobile phone with emergency numbers + power bank. Must remain accessible and operational throughout.

Basic First Aid Kit

Personal first aid kit including blister care, bandages, antiseptic, and emergency blanket for extreme conditions.

Nutrition Supply

Minimum 8 hours of personal nutrition. Aid stations provide basics but personal preferences/special needs required.

Blink Light

blinking front and rear light for enhanced visibility to vehicles during night running sections. Must be worn on back of pack or clothing.

Important: Mandatory gear checks at registration and random course checks. Missing gear = immediate disqualification for safety. Additional recommended items include: GPS device, whistle, sunscreen, lip balm, cash, and identification.

Who Should Accept This Challenge?

Ultra-experienced runners seeking the ultimate 100-mile challenge on a straight, continuous route.

This event is designed exclusively for runners who have:

  • Completed multiple 100KM+ ultras within cutoff times
  • Experience with multi-day or continuous 24+ hour efforts
  • Proven ability to handle significant elevation
  • Experience with varied terrain including technical sections
  • Strong mental fortitude for solo long-distance efforts

Prerequisites: Minimum of two 100KM finishes or one 100-mile finish within the last 24 months. Medical clearance and crew/pacer plans required for registration.
